Warhammer for girls again.

I believe, before Heresy Emperor's Children, thanking to their gene-seed, were the most handsome among the Space Marines of the First Founding Legions. But in fact on official art they look just like all others -- not handsome at all. So this is how I imagine them :)

UPD: Sorry, people, it is NOT Fulgrim, just a captain of the Emperor's Children.

The lighting you've chosen for this picture and the size of the thumbnail when I clicked it led me to believe this was a Blood Angel, besides me being wrong this is still a damn nice picture, I like the juxtaposition between his very recent slaughter of those Eldar Dire Avengers with his taking a moment to admire the cherry blossoms.

One criticism I will level though is that the blade should be bloodied, unless it's a power sword where the energies would have just boiled the blood away, in which case that's not very clear. Minor detail, but just felt a little off to me.

All in all, great piece, hope to see more like it.

Shouldnt this be Sanguinius ??? i mean around all this red theme and the prob. handsome features i'd go with sanguinius and not fulgrim

This... Makes me sad. So very, very sad, for it reminds me of how much was lost. And for what? The Heresy was only possible because Horus fell. Horus fell because Lorgar corrupted him. Lorgar became corrupted because the Emperor rebuked him. The Emperor rebuked him because he did not wish to be worshipped as a God.

Wow, good job! I really like the contrast between striking beauty and the horror of a battle's aftermath.

Fluff wise, I think the Blood Angels were at par with the Emperor's Children. And yeah, I agree with this: "But in fact on official art they look just like all others -- not handsome at all.". The "pretty chapters" should be given proper depiction, and you did that pretty well. cheers! :)
